Photos: Main Street Oyster House Celebrates Grand Opening

The restaurant's location on Main Street has a history of changing businesses.

Main Street Oyster House, formally known as Dark Horse Saloon, officially opened it's doors for business with a grand celebration on Saturday.

The restaurant closed Sept. 23 for renovations and reopened this weekend as the new Main Street Oyster House. The opening featured live music, specials, activities for kids and of course—oysters.

When speaking before the Harford County Liquor Control Board in September, owner Chris Reda said the Oyster House will feature a revamped menu, and remodel that will offer higher-end dining.

The new Oyster House location along Main Street in Bel Air has a history of changing businesses. Before Dark Horse opened up, the building was home to a Greene Turtle and before that it was Ropewalk.
