Really? Come on, nothing against Gus's, but, 1279 votes and they got 799. Sounds like someone there is playing a bit of a game. I read this website all the time and not once have that many people voted in a poll. Infact, I bet this website doesn't have that many readers. Remove them from the picture and Savona wins hands down. Way to keep it discrete Gus's! Pigs get fatter, hogs get slaughtered.

The winner is not determined by votes alone. Reviews on the Patch listings are also taken into account. Savona received no reviews. Gus's received three. Based on the posted rules, Gus's wins the maximum amount of points available. I personally am a big fan of the pretzel sandwich at MaGerk's and the salmon and spinach wrap at Sean Bolan's. It just goes to show we have great selection in this town!

And I must love FishBone, becasue this this smells awful fishy. Again, nothing against Gus, I've known him for years, but please, this stinks.

Relax! Does it matter?

I've been to neither Gus's nor Savona. Savona is always closed when I am downtown. And I hate the parking lot at Gus's. I prefer Tamberinos. But Gus's won, live with it. Jees.......you would have thought their was prize money involved.

You're right Richard, this is going to completely ruin my weekend. I won't be able to think of anything else. Why bother with having polls when they're skewed?

"You're right Richard, this is going to completely ruin my weekend. I won't be able to think of anything else." It seriously sounds like it man.

Didn't Gus's get in the news regarding a busted drug ring?

"Relax! Does it matter?" Sounds like it matters to you, if it didn't, why would you bother commenting at all? Now, on to our regularly scheduled program.

That had to do with his son in law. Gus would never, and I reiterate, never be involved with something like that. He's a great guy and has been providing good food to Harford County for many years.

Yeah folks these things are always a contest of who has more friends on facebook. I've never been to gus's. I prefer great day cafe in Timonium, MD.

Kirsten, you really need to have a CAPTCHA on voting pages. It is really easy to submit votes in an automated fashion without one. Here is info on CAPTCHA's: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CAPTCHA

I bought a sandwich from Gus' last year when I was 1/2 way to work & realized I'd left my lunch @ home. It was totally inedible. The turkey breast sandwich turned out to be slimey turkey roll. I used their guarentee to get my money back. A month later, my husband bought a 1/2 gallon of milk there. When I went to use it for my cereal the next am, I say the expiration date was is 5MONTHS OLD! I returned it and they offered me my $ and a free pizza...ick..I haven't been back since and they can keep their pizza.
