Readers' Choice: Bel Air's Best Sandwich

Gus's Deli received the most votes and most positive reviews.

Voters in Bel Air say is the place to go when you're craving a good sandwich.

Out of a record 1,279 votes cast, Gus's received 62 percent of the vote with 799. The business also received three positive reviews on its Patch Places listing—more than any other business entered in the poll.

The store, located on at 306 S Main St., is open Sunday through Wednesday from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m. and until 3 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.

When school lets out, the business is often filled with students grabbing a drink or a sandwich at the shop located conveniently up the road from the school.

While some were vocal about sandwiches at other locations, user was among those singing the praises of Gus's.

"My family and I LOVE Gus's Deli Mart!!! The staff is SO FRIENDLY and the food is TO DIE FOR! I personally love the ma & pop feel of the place and not to mention it's convenient location!!," she wrote in a comment.

and were next in line with 91 and 85 votes, respectively.

Tamberino's, however, was the only one of those two businesses to receive a review. , , , and all received at least one rave review under their Patch listings.
