Jonathan's Weddings and Flowers is the best! I got married in the blizzard of '96. The flowers were incredible and they went above and beyond getting them to both the church and reception hall in many feet of snow and horrible weather conditions!

Jonathan's did my flowers for my wedding in June 2009. I only had a vague idea of what I liked, and what I thought I wanted. He did a better job of visualizing what I wanted than I ever could have! My flowers were gorgeous and creative. The bouquets lasted for two weeks after the wedding. People asked if they were real, because they just kept going and going...

Have used Jonathan's forever. 3 proms, and most recently sons wedding.Great advise and flowers were exquisite. Used Jonathan's for functions at work. Most recently Ladies tea at St. Ignatius Church. The centerpieces were perfect. Jonathan also donates time and talents to help with St. Ignatius Christmas Bazaar. Doris

Richardson's was supposed to do the flowers for my wedding. It turned out to be such a horrible fiasco that I had to find a new florist the week before my wedding. If my horrendous experience with them is an indication of how they run their business, I am amazed they have any customers at all.

Petals 'N Posies all the way! 30+ years in business in the Bel Air area and still going strong. Petals 'N Posies was recently selected for a Wedding on HG TV. They were selected from many other Florist's in the area for their unique store layout and their reputation for beautiful arrangements and ability to deliver quality work in a timely manner. Petals 'N Posies has been doing my floral work for the last 17 years and I will never consider another shop as long as they are around! They have done Funeral, Birthday, Holiday, and even my Wedding arrangements over the years.

When we operated Holden Studio of Photography we had the chance to work with every florist in a 100 mile area...the one that impressed Ann and Betsy the most was Jonathon's...a husband and wife team that were competent, courteous, reasonable...and today they still are. For my money they still offer good old-fashioned service to the individual...a hallmark of a quality professional florist.

My family has used Richardson's forever, they are the best!!

My wife and I were married in 1993 and Richardson's did our flowers for the church service. The flowers began falling apart as soon as the bridesmaids handled them. We will never go there again. We used Jonathan's for my Mom's funeral and they were awesome. We tried to use them for my aunt's recent funeral but they had some weird hours so we used Petal's & Posies who did a great job too.

For floral arrangements that are consistently of the highest quality, no florist in the Bel Air area can beat Mrs. Flowers, Inc.! The designs are colorful and meticulously arranged, the flowers are always fresh, and the staff are personable and helpful.
Natalie R April 25, 2012 at 03:53 PM
Mrs. Flowers is excellent to say the least!!!! I wouldn't go anywhere else! If you want dedicated staff and friendly, professional help, you can't go wrong with Mrs. Flowers!!!

Mrs. Flowers Florist is without a doubt the best florist in Bel Air. The owner has been in the floral industry for 34 years and my family will never give our business to anyone else. Outstanding service, great staff, and CREATIVE designs! Everything I have ever ordered has been fresh and everyone that I have ever sent flowers has switched to Mrs. Flowers Florist!

I have worked at Richardsons' for over ten years. In all of those years, we have never neglected to fulfill any obligation for florals, especially a week before a wedding. We take great care and pride in our work and relationships with our clients. We are committed to providing quality products and service at all times. It is a pleasure to serve the residents of Harford County who have expressed time and again appreciation for the work that we do and the exceptional service we provide.

Flowers are such a vital part of a wedding and it's important to find a florist you trust to fulfill that task; Richardson's is that florist! They provided the flowers for my wedding in 2010 and they did a FABULOUS job!!! I know very little about flowers and did not have a clear vision for what I wanted the flowers to be at my wedding. After showing the consultant my colors and bridesmaid dresses she had tons of wonderful ideas and began giving life to what would be the wedding of my dreams. My wedding day was beyond BEAUTIFUL and it wouldn't have been the same without Richardson's!

Richardson's is the best! We have used Richardson's for several funerals as well as special occasion bouquets and we were always very pleased with the service and the quality of the arrangements. I've been to serveral weddings that they did the flowers for and the decorating and arrangements were beautiful to say the least. No wonder they were voted the best of Harford Co. several times. I can highly reccommend Richardson's Flowers and Gifts!
Bel Air resident April 26, 2012 at 05:26 PM
I sat down with one of your employees and we discussed the types of flowers and arrangements that I was interested in. She then gave me an estimated price, telling me that she would give me an actual price when it got closer to the wedding date. As my wedding approached, I tried to contact this woman to get a firm price; my husband and I were paying for our own wedding and didn't have unlimited resources. Over the course of several weeks, I tried unsuccessfully to contact her. The week before my wedding, I was finally able to get in touch with her. She apologized for not returning my calls saying that she had a sick dog (!?!!?). She then told me how much my flowers would cost; over double the estimated price. Now, I understand that an estimate is just that, but to not return my calls until one week before the wedding and then all of a sudden double the price is unfair (to say the least). So, technically, you are correct, Richardson's did not fail to fulfill their obligation for florals. They did, however, fail to treat me fairly.
Jess April 26, 2012 at 06:04 PM
As much as I loved what Jonathan's did for my wedding, I would be remiss to not mention that I have had nothing but pleasant experiences at Richardsons. I have walked in and given the ladies at the counter a meager budget for cut flowers, and I always walk out with something beautiful, and I feel like I have gotten more than my moneys worth. They are very friendly. On a lesser note, Petals N Posies has been recommended to me, and the three times I have walked in there, I feel like I have been treated if not rudely, then at least with poor customer service. Each time, the ladies behind the counter are chatting about this and that, and seem to have a bit of a staring match over who is going to look up and assist the person who just came in and stood at the counter. As this Patch article clearly displays, competition is a bit too tight to act like that!

Mrs. Flowers, Inc. is the BEST.....Beautiful flowers at a reasonable cost. Great care is given to every arrangement. If you have not used them, give them a try. You won't be disappointed. Very friendly staff. Their customer service is great too. Support your local Florist!

Richardson's did the flowers for my son/daughter-in-law's wedding and they were absolutely beautiful! I would strongly recommend Richardson's for any of your floral needs.

I want to give a compliment to Bel Air Florist on Ellendale. Excellent service, friendly suggestions and wonderful arrangements. Reasonable with prices too.
Michelle April 30, 2012 at 05:00 PM
They are not located in Bel Air any longer, but Flowers by Bauers in Jarrettsville is by far the best florist in Harford County. The Bauer brothers are so knowledgeable and friendly and have always provided fresh quality flowers for me and my family. I still get compliments on my wedding flowers and who remembers anyone's wedding flowers, but I still get compliments and I recommend them to everyone. Plus they have their own greenhouses and have beautiful snapdragons. I will say that I will NEVER go to Richardsons in Bel Air. When Flowers by Bauers closed their Bel Air store, we tried them once and they did not make the delivery the day it was requested. This was before GPS existed and they put the blame on me saying I did not have an accurate address.
