Restaurant, Fashion Retailers Coming to Boulevard At Box Hill

Several stores are set to fill a newly constructed building between JCPenney and Wegmans in Abingdon.

As JCPenney at the Boulevard at Box Hill prepares for its official opening Friday, another building located between the department store and Wegmans is drawing community attention.

At least six new businesses are expected to join JCPenney and Wegmans in the two-level building on the Boulevard, Tom Fidler, senior vice president for commerical real estate developer MacKenzie Retail, wrote in an email to Patch Tuesday.

While the building is still under construction, a number of businesses have already committed to leasing the space.

The Spa at the Boulevard, Accents Jewelry, Pet Valu Boutique and ATI Phys. Therapy are set to occupy the building once it is complete, Fidler wrote.

"We are in the process of finalizing the leases with one more retailer, and an Asian Fusion Grille restaurant that will be located on the main level, adjoining the outdoor patio area," Fidler wrote.

He added that fashion retailers will be named in the coming weeks.
