Pstroms, you lucked out. Because neither Adam Osborn nor Jeff Ziccardi cared about my complaint about Andrew Lovett. I would NEVER go back there under any circumstance! Andrew is without a doubt the worst (rude) manager I've ever dealt with and to not offer any sincere apology or compensation for 1) dropping your food, 2) waiting an hour for appetizers and 3) being rude for now reason, is ridiculous -- the worst part was both Adam Osborn and Jeff Ziccardi at first said they were "appalled" and "outraged" over the incident, but never did anything about it and (to me) didn't care about my complaint or if I ever went back. Worst of all, Corporate didn't care either! I wouldn't mind if they either closed shop or went elsewhere.

That sucks that you had a bad experience...guess I got them on a good day. But you are absolutely right, being a new restaurant in the midst of many similar restaurants within a few miles you want to stand out in a good way, doesn't sound like that happened at all in your experience.
Karl Schuub November 27, 2012 at 07:32 PM
Maybe it will end up closing; that location is far too out of the way and I can't imagine how the neighbors feel about the never ending smell of barbeque meat - it's great in small doses for short periods of time but everyday must suck. It stinks just driving through that area.
HDGresident November 27, 2012 at 07:44 PM
Thanks Karl -- I can only hope! In retrospect, I should have known better, for when we pulled into the parking lot, we saw 3 servers walking over to McDonald's to eat! If I win the Powerball, I'll buy them out and close it down!
Karl Schuub November 27, 2012 at 07:56 PM
Too funny!!! It was much better when it was a cornfield anyway.
HDGresident November 27, 2012 at 08:59 PM
Corn would be much better than the food (and customer service) at Texas Roadhouse anyway!!
Voter November 29, 2012 at 08:03 PM
Actually I did let them know. I sent emails to Adam Osborn (Managing Partner) and the Corporate office. I also left a comment on their Twitter site and I have never received any response of any kind. It seems they are clueless in the customer service department. I would think they would want to correct any bad experiences with at least an apology. All it takes is a few bad experiences for a few people for the word to spread. I've already told everyone at my office, all of my friends and neighbors abotu the experience and they all say I saved them from having to go thru a bad experiecne too. So their lack of concern has cost them a lot of lost business already.

My daughter has worked at Texas Roadhouse since the day they opened. She had worked at The Lodge for 2 years and thank god she finally quit and works somewhere she is respected. The manager Adam has been so wonderful to work with and truly cares about his employees. Unfortunately, just like any restaurant when starting, there is a lot of hiring, firing and kinks at first. They required weeks of training prior to opening but that doesn't always guarantee anything. I have eaten there, along with so many of my friends and the food and prices are awesome! Of course I am partial to my server, who of course was my daughter. I recommend that you give them some time to perfect things, along with any new restaurant, and give them a second chance.
Voter November 29, 2012 at 08:29 PM
Glad to hear they respect the employees. They should respect their customers too. For management to be made aware of a problem and not to at least apologize is unacceptable. We thought the food was decent, but the prices seem to be high to us. We don't mind paying more for an outstanding product, but the meal was not outstanding.... just decent.
Karl Schuub November 29, 2012 at 09:02 PM
Wish the best of luck to your daughter but I still wish it was left as open space...last I heard the owner of that entire center wants to asphalt the whole thing and put in an RV park. Can't imagine such a ridiculous use of what was once a cornfield. It's bad enough it's outside the development envelope but I can't imagine how unsightly it will be with a bunch of RV's parked there.
HDGresident November 30, 2012 at 01:55 AM
Regardless of what volunteer mom says, I had a very bad experience and not only did Andrew Lovett disappoint, but so did Adam Osborn and Jeff Ziccardi, and as far as the servers, the one who waited on my friends and I was horrible! She can defend all she wants (her daughter), but since I'm not the only one who's complaining, there's obviously something wrong! Note to Voter: Thanks for both voicing your concern to Texas Roadhouse and others, I called their Corporate Director of Consumer Relations at (502) 777-0522 and her name is Donna Sanders. Feel free to remind her of my bad experience.
Pstroms November 30, 2012 at 02:18 PM
Voter, I think the prices are very good for what you get...I get a 10 oz ribeye, loaded mashed potatoes, chili, and warm bread with Cinnamon butter for $14.49...I was just there again last night. Very good. I told you what happened one time when they forgot to load my potatoes on carry out...I called and they gave me a free Entree. Adam was who I talked to and he explained that they are working on the little things to get better. Of course mine was just one experience, but I have been there 4 times now and have gotten nothing but great, friendly service. And friends and co-workers of mine have stated the same.
HDGresident November 30, 2012 at 03:53 PM
Pstroms, with all due respect, I don't think Voter's and my cases are isolated incidents. I believe there's a serious customer service issue there, particularly with the managers (Andrew Lovett in particular) and the Managing Partners (Adam Osborn and Jeff Ziccardi). They never resolved Voter's complaint or mine. I'm glad that Voter did as I did and warned others and I will continue to do so. I wish I hit the Powerball Wednesday night, for I would have bought them out and closed it down!
HDGresident December 01, 2012 at 02:20 AM
Although I warned my friends not to go to Texas Roadhouse, they did last night and even booked a table ahead of time and waited 45 more minutes and then the server was very rude and got their food wrong and made them wait another 30 minutes and the manager did NOT offer any compensation. The servers were too busy talking to each other and doing line dances. They complained again to the manager, who was rude, and they paid and left vowing to never return -- I laughed and said I told you so! This place has serious customer service problems!
HDGresident December 03, 2012 at 12:37 PM
My friends went Friday night (see below) and had a bad experience and spent over $100 and they complained and after calling many times the manager didn't apologize but offered a free entree for their next visit -- ridiculous! They are in complete denial -- my friends will NEVER go back, regardless. How can you not even offer an apology!
Pstroms December 03, 2012 at 02:34 PM
Question, if your friends aren't going to go back and take advantage of the free entree, is it possible I can use it?
HDGresident December 04, 2012 at 06:16 PM
Pstroms, sorry I wouldn't wish that place on my worst enemy!

Voter, did you ever hear back from Corporate, Adam Osborn or Jeff Ziccardi? My friends complained to Corporate about their experience (after the one I had) and after 4 attempts, they finally gave up! What a disgrace!
Voter December 20, 2012 at 01:21 PM
HDGResident. No, I never heard a word from anyone from the restaurant. No response whatsoever. If they care that little about their customers... you can imagine how little concern they must have for the quality of the food and service. I was not expecting anything but an apology. I won't be back, and I have been spreading the word around as much as possible about the uncaring attitude of this place.
Pstroms December 20, 2012 at 02:23 PM
Unfortunately, I don't think the word is spreading. A friend of mine went last Wednesday and there was an hour and a half wait just to get a seat.
HDGresident December 21, 2012 at 04:23 PM
Voter -- after over a month, I heard back from Travis Doster. He's at Corporate and I told him others had problems. E-mail him is best and you can do so at travis.doster@texasroadhouse.com His phone number is (502) 426-9984, but e-mail is best. Make sure you put a dot between travis and doster.
HDGresident December 31, 2012 at 02:31 PM
Texas Roadhouse Corporate is unprofessional! I just received an e-mail (12/31/12) from Donna Sanders with Corporate Guest Relations, where the e-mail was very unprofessional and the words/tone was extremely rude! It is clear that Customer Service is NOT a concern of theirs and they condone unprofessional behavior by their Management!
Voter December 31, 2012 at 03:57 PM
HDGResident, At least you got some sort of response.... I have not had any respoinse whatsoever. They are the most ignorant, uncaring, unprofessional company I have ever run across.
OldHarfordCounty December 31, 2012 at 05:15 PM
The largest Powerball ticket was worth 237 million or there about. To buy 51% would take about 590 million.Since they will soon have more cash on hand from not paying dividends in 2013 (many companies will stop paying dividend). stock price should rise and more locations open.
RW Willy December 31, 2012 at 05:34 PM
They dropped your food after a long wait, asked you pay for the drinks you consumed. Get over it. Its not like you got food poisoning and died. You'll never go back, we got it. Thanks for your review.
Voter December 31, 2012 at 05:42 PM
I think HDGresident is complaining more about the lack of response or concern by management of the chain. If they care this little about customer service, i would think the business mantra spills over into the kitchen, in my opinion, it WILL cause food poisening sooner or later. This is apparently NOT an isolated incident from what I've read. I can understand some bumps in the road with a new startup location, but I can't understand or forgive the fact that management doesn't even offer up an apology.
Joseph Applegeiser December 31, 2012 at 06:27 PM
Yeah, I've heard some negative stories about this particular Roadhouse at this particular location. They're new, give them a break, everyone and their family is rushing in there ASAP just to get disappointed.... so give it time. Their hostess staff is absolutely horrible right now, combined with the layout of this particular building. Crowded people in the small waiting room, with servers and other staff who are too lazy to exit from the other side of the kitchen... so they literally are walking into people who are in the "waiting room." Remember, this restaurant is a chain, very few chains are worthwhile and "good" in my book; combined with the slow and horrible service; definitely not worth it at this location. You can go somewhere else in Bel Air and order practically the same thing.
HDGresident January 03, 2013 at 02:28 PM
I received 2 very rude and unprofessional e-mails from the Texas Roadhouse Corporate office (Donna Sanders & Travis Doster) and in one e-mail they stated that they no longer want my business -- I couldn't agree more! Customer Service is NOT a priority for Texas Roadhouse! Note to Voter: If you do receive a response, it will probably be the same!
HDGresident May 28, 2013 at 07:34 PM
Avoid Texas Roadhouse -- I warned my family, friends and co-workers and 2 of my friends over the weekend had a bad experience! When they left, they noticed 4 servers walking across the way to the McDonalds to eat!
