Bel Air Library Becomes Grant-Writing Resource

The Harford County Public Library branch is now a Cooperating Collection of the Foundation Center of New York.

The Harford County Public Library system just gained a new resource for nonprofit organizations seeking funding.

The library announced this week that the Bel Air branch will house resources on available grants and how to write a grant proposal. The resources are a collection of the Foundation Center of New York.

This means nonprofit organizations and others looking for grants now have local resources to make the job easier.

“Harford County Public Library is very pleased to bring these critical resources to Harford County through a grant provided by the Community Foundation of Harford County. Customers now have access through the Bel Air Library and eliminates the need to travel to Baltimore or leave the county to search for that critical grant opportunity,” , said in a release.

Need to tap these resources? No problem. You can find the print collection and dedicated computers in the Maryland Room of the Bel Air library branch, located at 100 E. Pennsylvania Avenue.
