At 7:30 p.m. on April 17, the community is invited to gather on Main Street outside the Harford County Circuit Court building, located at 20 West Courtland Street in Bel Air.

"This is our first Candlelight Vigil in honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month. We hope to make this an annual event to continue to bring awareness to the issue of child safety and protection," CASA’s Director, Ross DiEdoardo, said in a release.

The event will include a pinwheel garden—blue pinwheels have come to represent the "playful innoncence" childhood should have, the release states.

Speakers and musical from the Susquehanna Singers are also expected.

The Family Tree will provide the pinwheels and Buontempo Brothers will offer a special discount to all attendees, according to the release.
