GET OUT: Love is in the (Bel) Air

There are plenty of lovely events on tap for this weekend.

This week, Patch has some partying, a couple "lovely" Valentine's-related events and even something for the sports fan.

Kick off the weekend with an NCAA Division I basketball game or by partying in Bel Air at the Armory. By Sunday, you just might be ready for a special dinner at one of Bel Air's staple restaurants—the Tower.

: The biggest party of the year so far will take place at the in downtown Bel Air and is hosted by the . Tickets are $5, but with the food and drink selection from , , Northeast Beverage and , it's a bargain. The True Housewives and NVS Salon employees will be guest bartenders. And bring your dancing shoes for the DJ. The event is from 5–9 p.m., and remember, it's free to park on Main Street after 5 p.m. I hear that yours truly might even make an appearance.

Couples Packages at : If dancing at HTFF isn't your thing, the Tower has a Valentine's Day couple's package Friday through Monday. The menu includes a flower for "every lady," one appetizer, two salads, two entrees and two desserts for $49.99. Call ahead to make reservations at 410-838-8007. 

Babe's Birthday Bash: Are you getting the itch for some baseball? Celebrate the Bambino's 116th birthday in Baltimore. Tickets are $45 for members, $55 general admission and $60 at the door. Admission includes access to the museum gallery, parking, food and beverage, a silent auction and more.

Loyola (MD) Men's Basketball: Go see former Maryland assistant coach Jimmy Patsos lead his Greyhounds in a matchup with Niagara. Loyola still has a chance to get the No. 2 seed in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference tournament, but it needs to win this 7 p.m. matchup Friday to keep its hopes alive. Tickets are just $5 each.

Romance Author Panel: Hear from three romance authors about the writing and publishing process at the Jarrettsville branch of Harford County Public Libraries. Registration is required for this event geared toward high schoolers and adults. Mary Jo Putney, Tracey Anne Warren and Jennifer Vido will speak at the Saturday event from 1–3 p.m.
