Half Pints, 2 Golf Courses Fail Liquor Tests

The Harford County Liquor Control Board tested 22 businesses.

Mountain Branch Golf Course and recently failed underage compliance tests from the Harford County Liquor Control Board.

Five of the 22 businesses failed the randomly-conducted tests July 23. Wetlands Golf Club and the Hilton Garden Inn, both in Aberdeen, and American Legion Post 47 in Havre de Grace also failed the test.

"Anyone who is granted the privilege of having a license to sell and serve alcohol must be vigilant in checking their patrons to see if they are of legal age to purchase alcohol no matter what type of establishment they operate.” Donald Hess, Chairman for the Harford County Liquor Control Board, said in a statement.

There were 17 Harford County businesses that passed the test:
