PETS: April, Homer and Billy

The Humane Society of Harford County recommends the pets of the week.

From the Humane Society of Harford County:

Dog of the Week: April
Age: 7 years
Color: Black
Breed: Chow Chow Mix
Gender: Female
Adoption Fee: $95
Hey there, I’m April and I’m so excited to be dog of the week!  I’ve been here for almost 2 months now, and although it’s been nice here, I’m ready to start the next chapter of my life and get outta here!  I am a total sweetheart who walks great on a leash, appears to be housebroken and is an all-around lovely lady.  I get along well with other dogs and I just love people.  I was surrendered by my owner because I loved them so much, I would get anxious when they weren’t home.  It’s a pretty common condition and there are lots of things you can do to help me with it. Come to the shelter to see me and let’s go for a walk!

Cat of the Week: Homer
Age: 4 years
Color: White & Brown
Breed: Domestic Shorthair Mix
Gender: Male
Adoption Fee: $47.50 (reduced from $95)
Know what I see when I look into the camera?  I see a purr-son who’s going to come to the Humane Society and adopt me.  I see them taking me home and spoiling me with special treats and lots of petting.  I see myself curled up in a warm bed that’s all mine.  I see us being happy together, forever.  What do YOU see?  I’m Homer and I’m a super-sweet, loveable guy who is just waiting to meet that special person.  If you think you could be the one, please come to see me. I'm waiting... (P.S. I’m in the Lonely Hearts Club, so my adoption fee is half off!)

Small Critter of the Week: Billy
Age: 2 years
Color: Gray, Tan & White
Breed: Guinea Pig
Gender: Male
Adoption Fee: $20
Hey everyone, I’m Billy, and I’m a super sweet and cute guinea pig who’s used to being handled and cuddled!  I was surrendered to the shelter because my owners had too many of us.  I love munching on Timothy hay and the occasional carrot!  I would make a wonderful companion for you and your family, so come out to the shelter to meet me!
