Hi there! I'm Jake, and if you saw me when I first arrived at the shelter in July as a stray, I don’t think you’d recognize me now.  I had a very bad skin infection and was missing hair and I was so sad, but the kind folks here have been taking good care of me, and I look and feel so much better! When you see me now you will note a look of some St Bernard in me. Everyone is impressed that despite my bad situation, my happy-go-lucky attitude and good heart are shining through. They are all hoping some wonderful family will recognize what I have to offer and the happy ending will be complete. I am easy on a leash and will sit/lay down on command. I am truly a diamond in the rough (and less and less rough each day- so check me out soon!)
