Philmore Changes Mind, Will Transfer from Towson
The John Carroll graduate was the Tigers' leading scorer this past season.
Less than two weeks after he told the Baltimore Sun he would remain at Towson, Isaiah Philmore has changed his mind.
"I was limiting my own options in scholarships and places I could transfer to if I waited any longer," the Fallston resident told the Sun. "People in my circle said it was the best thing for me, not to drag it out."

"I'm really not looking to [transfer]," Philmore said. "I have a great coach here that they brought in. I just want to see what kind of recruits they're going to bring in. … I'm going to say, as of now, I think I'm going to remain here."
Philmore, a John Carroll class of 2008 graduate, is the Harford County high school basketball all-time leading scorer with 1,776 points. He also tallied 982 rebounds and 185 blocks in his high school career.

He led Towson and was sixth in the Colonial Athletic Association with 15.4 points per game this season.
