Welcome to Bel Air Patch

We are the newest source for community news specifically targeting Bel Air.

Hello, Bel Air residents and visitors, and welcome to Bel Air's newest online journalism site. Not only is BelAir.Patch.com going to be your primary destination for everything that goes on in the county seat, but it is also a great resource for finding a new restaurant, checking the community events calendar (which you can add to yourself) and finding out what your neighbors think about local issues.

I am a lifelong Harford County native and North Harford graduate, so I have a good handle on my newest hometown and look forward to sharing everything I learn with you right here on this site. Our hyper-local, community-oriented approach to journalism brings Bel Air up-to-the-minute, 24/7 coverage.

With five high schools and a community college in town, there is no limit on your school and athletics coverage. But just because I'm a huge sports fan does not mean you will miss out on everything else—arts, business, government, local columns, and police and fire news can all be found here.

Since this is your town's site, make sure to put your stamp on it. Comment on stories, upload photos, add events and announcements, send me e-mails and call me at my office—that is, at my apartment, at a football field on Friday nights, at Little NY Deli, at Shamrock, or just about anywhere else in town. I'll be the guy with the Patch laptop.

My e-mail is brad@patch.com (how easy is that?) and my phone number is 443-621-3056. You can also stay up-to-date via Facebook and Twitter. Of course, I would rather meet you in person. So when you see me around town, introduce yourself and let me know what you want to see on the site.

And, please, no duck farmer jokes.
