Year in Review: Student Charged With Rape September

Bel Air Patch looks back at the biggest stories of the year.

The rape of a 14-year-old girl and charging of her classmate quickly caught the attention of local readers after Patch first broke the story in September.

Kyle Burnett Reddish, 16, of the 200 block of Kensington Parkway in Abingdon, was charged on Sept. 21 with the rape of a fellow student, age 14, according to charging documents.

Other media outlets quickly picked up the story and comments flooded the Bel Air Patch site with numbers reaching over 100.
