Cancer Support Group at Fallston Presbyterian Church

Fallston Presbyterian Church will be hosting a cancer support group on the first and third Thursdays of the month from 7-8:30 pm. The first session will meet on October 17.
The sessions will have a spiritual/faith based focus and will offer a structured segment, allowing time for group sharing. The support group will be open to those with a cancer diagnosis and anyone affected by their diagnosis. The group will be led by Joanne Fleming and Debbie Glenn, both cancer survivors and Stephen Ministers.
The National Cancer Institute estimates that there are approximately 13.7 million people alive with cancer. The effects of cancer are felt by the person with cancer, their family and friends. Experts say that people with the same issues who engage in support groups benefit from the interactions within the group.
There is not charge for the support group. For more information, contact Fallston Presbyterian church at 410-879-7729. The church is located at 600 Fallston Road in Fallston.
