On Thanksgiving morning, Havre de Grace-area residents can burn off some
calories before the big feast and raise money for a great cause by participating
in the 6th Annual Bulle Rock Turkey Trot benefiting the
Susquehanna Hose Company.
Open to the public for all age groups and fitness levels, the 5K run and
1-mile walk will occur Thursday, Nov. 22, at the Residents’
Club at The Residences at Bulle Rock (1200 Bulle Rock Pkwy.).
Registration will begin at 8 a.m., a warm- up will occur at 8:45 and the races
will kick off at 9:00.
The 5K course will weave through The Residences at Bulle Rock and Bulle
Rock Golf Course on paved roads and paths. A costumed turkey will greet
participants and cheer them on at the finish line. The course will be well
marked with monitors along the way, and Elite Race Management will record
each participant’s finish times.
