House & Home Exhibit Opening and Presentation

NEH Traveling Exhibit House & Home opens on November 14.  Dr. Sharon Stowers will discuss “The Taste of
Home: The Foods We Eat to Celebrate Our Families and Our Culture.” Dr. Stowers’ presentation will be given twice that day: 12:20-1:30 PM
and then again at 6:30-8 PM.  Free and open to the public.  Reservations recommended; 443-412-2539 or HaysHeighe@harford.edu



The exhibit can also be viewed during the
regular open exhibit hours at the Hays-Heighe House, which are Tuesdays 1-3 PM,
Fridays from 10 AM-12 PM and on December 7 and January 4 from 10 AM. – 12 PM.

Building Museum in Washington, D.C. and curated by Sarah Leavitt, Curator, The
National Building Museum. House &
Home
has been made possible through NEH on the Road, a special initiative
of the National Endowment for the Humanities. It has been adapted and is being
toured by Mid-America Arts Alliance. Founded in 1972, Mid-America Arts Alliance
