Motorcyclists will take to the highway in remembrance of 9/11. Registration begins at 8am, ceremonies include 6 moments of silence beginning at 8:46am the time American Flight 77 struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center in NY, reading the names of the 40 Heroes of Flight 93, tolling of the Remembrance Bell, Pledge and National Anthem.
Fees are $15.00 for driver and $10.00 for passenger. Proceeds benefit the Flight 93 National Memorial and National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.
The ride will depart Chesapeake at 10:45am, travel south on RT1 and make a right onto Harford Rd.
All bikes, riders and clubs welcome, the public is invited to line the ride route in support of the riders and remember those lost on 9/11, our Troops and First Responders.
