Forest Hill Liquor Store Reunites Wedding Ring, Owner

Ronnie's Beverage Warehouse gave someone reason to uncork the champagne.

Someone received a late Christmas present in Forest Hill.

The owner of a wedding band found in the parking lot of Ronnie's Beverage Warehouse on Christmas Day was reunited with the ring, store representatives told Patch this week.

At the end of December, the store put word out that it had found the ring, which was inscribed with "11-25-98 XOXO."

To ensure the rightful owner claimed it, Bel Air Patch readers suggested having the owner present a marriage certificate or, "like Cinderella's glass slipper, the ring would just have to fit their finger!"

Ronnie's Beverage Warehouse told Patch in a message on Jan. 6 that the owner and ring were reunited. It was not immediately available how the owner verified the claim.
