Ravens Look to Advance to the Super Bowl

The Ravens will face off against the Patriots on Sunday.

Last week, the Ravens surpassed the Denver Broncos in a thrilling 38-35 victory to advance to AFC Championship game. Throughout the state, fans have been chomping at the bit, ready to get Sunday's game against the Patriots under way. No matter where you go these days, there will never be a lack of purple pride! Since the announcement of #52's retiring, the Baltimore defense has played well and beaten two impressive offenses. Last week, it was the future Hall-of-Famer Peyton Manning. This week, Lewis and Co. will see an opponent just as tough in Tom Brady.

In order to stop Brady, the defense will look to use crowd noise to their advantage. Since Gillette Stadium in Foxboro will be quiet when the defense takes the field, Ray Lewis should be able to keep the defense in order. Whether it is putting pressure on Brady, or stopping the Wide-Receivers, Lewis should be able to control his defense with ease.

On offense, QB Joe Flacco will look to keep his winning-ways going against a stout New England defense. Last week, Flacco threw for over 300 yards and tossed 3 TD's through the air. If "Joe Cool" can use weapons like Anquan Boldin and Dennis Pitta effectively, the offense might be able to surpass last week's 38 point total.
