Boys and Girls Club Hosts Open House

The Boys and Girls Club of Harford County hosted an open house at its Bel Air location Tuesday.

Tuesday marked the first in a series of open houses hosted by the Boys and Girls Club of Harford County.

The open house ran from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the in the 500 block of West Macphail Road.

"Today was about increasing exposure," Jonathan Carter, director of development with Boys and Girls Clubs of Harford County, said Tuesday. "We just want to give the community a chance to see what we're doing."

The Boys and Girls Club offers "positive out-of-school activities" to about 4,500 youth between the ages of 6 and 18, according to the club's fact sheet.

During the next two weeks, the other will host their own open houses.
