Ridgeway J. Regars, of Jarrettsville, MD, Inducted into Sigma Chapter of the Alpha Epsilon Lambda National Honor Society for Graduate and Professional Students at NJIT

Ridgeway J. Regars, of Jarrettsville, Maryland, was inducted into the Sigma Chapter of the Alpha Epsilon Lambda of the National Honor Society for Graduate and Professional Students at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) on Friday, November 15, 2013. Fadi P. Deek, PhD, provost and senior executive vice president at NJIT, was the guest speaker at the induction ceremony and luncheon.

Regars is currently working toward an MS in information systems at NJIT’s College of Computing Sciences.     

Alpha Epsilon Lambda was founded in 1990 with the specific objective of recognizing the academic and leadership accomplishments of graduate and professional school students. The criteria for selection into the Sigma Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Lambda at NJIT include academic excellence; leadership activities (academic, professional, or community); exemplary character; and completion of at least two-thirds of the credits toward an NJIT master’s or doctoral degree.
