VIDEO: Girls Night Out Features Street Music Performance

Live music is a feature of Girls Night Out events in Bel Air.

Music filled the air on Main Street Thursday evening as 17-year-old Miranda Haney strummed her guitar and belted out lyrics on the sidewalk in front of Tiny Toes.

Haney was hired by the Bel Air Downtown Alliance to play her music outside for Girls Night Out—an event that includes extended shopping hours at downtown shops and happy hour specials in addition to live music.

The teen played songs such as "Every Teardrop is a Waterfall," by Coldplay and "Folsom Prison Blues" by Johnny Cash.

Haney started singing as soon as she could walk and hopes to continue playing music as a hobby.
