The Harford County Sheriff's Office said the goals were cut up for scrap metal.

The Harford County Sheriff's Office said it took two men into custody and is searching for others involved in stealing four soccer goals from Reckord Road Park in Fallston.

According to the sheriff's office, deputies responded to the 2400 block of Reckord Road at 11:47 a.m. Wednesday after receiving a report that men were cutting up soccer goals in the backyard of a residence.

Police said several men stole the goals after 5 p.m. Tuesday and took them to a vacant house in the 2400 block of Reckord Road, where they were cut up for scrap metal and found in the back of a blue Ford Explorer.

Each soccer goal was valued at $1,200, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

Police said they have charged two Dundalk area men with malicious destruction of property and are investigating two other suspects who may be involved.
