2 Injured, 1 Flown From Harford ATV Accident

The incident took place Saturday night in rural Harford County.

Two patients were injured and one was airlifted following an ATV accident Saturday in northern Harford County.

The accident took place before 9 p.m. Saturday at Camp Spencer in the 3800 block of Peach Orchard Road, said Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire & EMS Association.

Gardiner could not confirm the age or gender of the patients.

One patient was flown to Maryland Shock Trauma in stable condition after suffering non-life-threatening injuries, Gardiner said. He did not know the condition of the second patient, but said its possible the individual was taken to a local hospital by ambulance.

Darlington Volunteer Fire Company responded to the accident, Gardiner said.

As an aside to this story, I am amazed to see parents who allow young children and teens to drive ATV without supervision or helmets. An accident waiting to happen!

I agree with you gentlemen. These are egregious errors by Sean Welsh. I wouldn't blame either of you should you ask for a refund on all the money you've both spent for your subscription here. /sarcasm Seriously...this was a quick update on a breaking story. Check out some of Sean's feature work and try to find something to criticize. I'm sure you won't find much if anything at all. It's worth pointing out, Danial Carver, that the term you used was spelled incorrectly. The term is 'nit-picking'. You also forgot to pluralize 'journalists'. By all means, though, carry on.

Just joining the crowd and pointed out a flaw in something that is done by a professional. A little critisizm might help him out down the road. Just because it was a "quick update" shouldn't excuse someone who does it for a living, to be sloppy at their craft! As for me and my punctuation and spelling.....I don't think anyone gives a rats ass. Did I spell that right?

@Danial - You could have stopped at "Just joining the crowd..." That was a pretty easy conclusion. Your comments prove you have very little understanding for what Sean and the other Patch editors do. Like I said before...check out some of Sean's feature pieces and I'm confident you'll find journalism that lives up to your standards.

And, by the way, criticism is spelled wrong too.
