Legislation Reducing Parking Requirements Set for Hearing

The Bel Air Board of Commissioners will meet Tuesday this week in light of the Monday President's Day holiday.

Two pieces of legislation have public hearings scheduled during this week's meeting of the Bel Air Board of Commissioners.

A budget amendment is also up for discussion.

The board will meet tonight, Tuesday, at 7:30 p.m. in town hall located at 29 N. Hickory Ave.

The first hearing will be on amendments to the town's development regulations.

Among the proposed changes is an amendment reducing the number of parking spaces a developer is required to provide in certain zoning areas including B2, B3A and B2A.

The second hearing is on a proposed town administrative fee of $30 for residents in communities where the Department of Public Works conducts special projects.
