2 Students Hospitalized After Bel Air Bus Crash

The accident took place Thursday morning.

Two students were taken to a local hospital Thursday morning after their school bus was involved in an accident in Bel Air.

The accident took place Thursday morning in the area of Route 24 and Bel Air South Parkway, according to a post to the official Harford County Fire and EMS Facebook page made by spokesman Rich Gardiner.

Two students on the bus sustained minor injuries, Gardiner wrote.

The bus carrying Bel Air High School students was rear ended around 8 a.m., Teri Kranefeld, manager of communication with Harford County Public Schools told ExploreHarford.com Thursday.

The accident was one of several involving injury to take place on Harford County roads Thursday morning, Gardiner's post states.
