Abingdon 7-Eleven Robbery Suspect Caught on Camera: Harford Sheriff

The Harford County Sheriff's Office needs help identifying the man who allegedly robbed the 7-Eleven on Abingdon Road at knifepoint.

The Harford County Sheriff's Office released footage Tuesday containing the man suspected in an armed robbery over the weekend at an Abingdon convenience store.

At 5:25 a.m. on Saturday, a man with a knife approached the cashier at the 7-Eleven on Abingdon Road at Route 7, demanding money and cigarettes, the sheriff's office said.

The man, who was covering his face with a piece of navy sweatshirt, left on foot once he had received the money and cigarettes, according to the report; the sheriff's office said he headed toward Route 7/Philadelphia Road.

The Harford County Sheriff's Office welcomes information about this incident; submit tips anonymously to www.harfordsheriff.org. Text information to Metro Crime Stoppers at 274637, beginning the message with "MCS." Qualifying tips that lead to a conviction may be eligible for a reward up to $2,000.
