Edgewood 7-Eleven Robbed at Gunpoint: Harford Sheriff

The robber demanded money and cigarettes, the Harford County Sheriff's Office said.

An Edgewood convenience store was held up Monday morning, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office, which said the suspect was at large.

At 12:28 a.m. on Monday, deputies responded to the 7-Eleven at 1020 Gateway Road in Edgewood for an armed robbery, the sheriff's office reported.

The clerk said that a man came into the store, pointed a handgun at her and demanded money, the report stated.

The suspect was a black man, 5'5", 180 pounds, wearing blue jeans, a hooded gray sweatshirt and a bandanna, according to the sheriff's office.

Police said the suspect left, and no injuries were reported.
