A busy Bel Air roadway was closed to traffic Tuesday evening after an accident, fire officials say.
Shortly before 4:47 p.m. an accident took place in the area of Route 543 and Redfield Road in the Fountain Green, Bel Air area, according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.
Those involved sustained minor injuries, Gardiner told Patch.

The road was expected to remain closed until about 6 p.m. so crews could clear the damaged vehicles out of the road, according to Gardiner.
