Smoke Seen at Bel Air Apartment
The Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company is responding to a fire in Royston.
UPDATE (5:35 p.m.)—Firefighters have resolved what was originally believed to be an apartment fire on Royston Place in Bel Air.
Minutes after a transformer fire shut off the traffic signal at the intersection of Maryland Routes 22 and 543, smoke was seen coming from vents of the Royston Place building, according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.
Soon after personnel from the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company cleared the scene.
