Bel Air Crime: Accused Burglar Allegedly Violates Probation

The following information was supplied by the Harford County Sheriff's Office, Bel Air Police Department and Maryland State Police. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

 

A Bel Air man charged in connection with was served a warrant Friday after allegedly violating his probation.

Cory Richard Strevig, 26, of the 600 block of Emmy Dee Drive in Bel Air, in connection with the burglaries.

On Friday, Strevig, who was being detained at the in connection with the burglary cases, was served a bench warrant in a case in which he was found guilty of possessing a drug other than marijuana.

Strevig pleaded guilty to the charge in June of 2010, according to online court records.

The warrant charges him with violating his probation in the drug case. He faces up to three years and 11 months in jail if he is found guilty of the violation.

Abingdon man accused of probation violations

Jonathan Steven McCollum, 37, of the 3300 block of Garrison Circle in Abingdon, was arrested March 16 on two bench warrants in cases in which he was charged with driving without required license and authorization and failure to furnish required identification. He was found guilty in August 2011 and is now accused of violating his supervised probation.

Abingdon man arrested on two warrants

Antonio D. Jones, 24, of the 1200 block of Lobo Court in Abingdon, was arrested March 19 on two bench warrants in cases in which he was charged with driving while his license was suspended.

Edgewood man charged with theft

Dion A. Adams, 34, of the 800 block of Windstream Way in Edgewood, was charged March 16 with theft less than $1,000 and theft scheme less than $1,000.

Pennsylvania man charged with trespassing

Philip Michael Adler, 25, of the 900 block of Campus View Road in Elizabethtown, Pa., was charged March 17 with trespassing on private property, disorderly conduct, failure to obey a lawful police order and resisting arrest.

Bel Air man charged with drug possession

Zachary Benjamin Hayes, 21, with addresses in the 2000 block of Gannet Court in Bel Air and the 400 block of Alabama Ave. in Salisbury, was charged March 17 with possession of marijuana.

Bel Air man charged with drug possession

Sean Philip Clemens, 19, of the 800 block of Rosefield Court in Bel Air, was charged March 18 with possession of marijuana.

Abingdon woman arrested on drug, traffic charges

Candyce Rose Bleinberger, 20, of the 2900 block of Shelley Court in Abingdon, was charged March 19 with possession of a drug other than marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and having a passenger age 16 or older in outboard front seat of motor vehicle without seat belt. The charges stem from an 11:50 a.m. March 19 traffic stop in the area of Atwood Road and Baltimore Pike in Bel Air.
