Bel Air woman charged with theft, assault

Brandy Lee Coleman, 18, of the 900 block of Leeswood Road in Bel Air, was charged April 17 with theft less than $1,000, second-degree assault and possession of marijuana.

Bel Air man charged with escape
Mauricio Gonzalez, 23, of the 900 block of Richwood Road in Bel Air, was charged April 27 with second-degree escape.

Abingdon man charged with violating probation

Daniel Ray Church, 26, of the 2900 block of Islay Court in Abingdon, was arrested April 30 on a bench warrant in a case in which he pleaded guilty to second-degree assault. A warrant was issued for Church’s arrest after he allegedly violated probation, according to online court records.

Forest Hill man charged with violating probation

Mark Steven Anderson II, 23, of the 2400 block of Nora Court in Forest Hill, was arrested April 28 on a bench warrant in a case in which he pleaded guilty to second-degree assault and was sentenced to supervised probation. A warrant was issued for Anderson’s arrest after he allegedly violated probation, according to online court records.

Bel Air man charged with drug possession

Ryan Neal Bentley, 20, of the first block of Overbrook Drive in Bel Air, was charged April 29 with possession of a drug other than marijuana.

Bel Air man arrested on warrant

Kim Louie Perez-Oteyza, 34, of the 2000 block of Whitney Lane in Bel Air, was arrested April 30 on a bench warrant in a case in which he was charged with second-degree assault. The warrant was issued after Perez-Oteyza allegedly failed to appear in court, according to online court records.

Brierhill Drive in Bel Air, 200 block, reported 6:19 a.m. April 27: A woman at Safeway reported that someone stole her cell phone.

South Main Street in Bel Air, 400 block, reported 11:11 a.m. April 27: Someone reportedly stole a concrete bench from the area of MD Route 924 and Barrington Court in Bel Air. The victim reported the theft from a Main Street address.

Springview Court in Fallston, 1900 block, reported 11:43 a.m. April 27: A burglar tried to break into a home on that block through a sliding glass door.

Philadelphia Road in Abingdon, 2700 block, reported 4:44 p.m. April 27: A student at William Paca Elementary School brought a BB gun to school. Staff confiscated the weapon.

Cypress Court in Bel Air, 400 block, reported 10:25 p.m. April 27: A woman told police there was a disorderly group of people outside her home. Police responded and discovered vandalized property in the area.

Northview Road in Bel Air, 200 block, reported 7:59 a.m. April 28: Someone broke into a car in the block overnight and stole property.

Northview Road in Bel Air, 200 block, reported 9:25 a.m. April 28: Someone stole a GPS out of a vehicle overnight.

Moonshadow Road in Bel Air, 1400 block, reported 9:10 a.m. April 28: Someone broke into a vehicle and stole property.

Moonshadow Road in Bel Air, 1400 block, reported 9:29 a.m. April 28: Someone broke into a car and stole property.

Martha Court in Bel Air, 1600 block, reported 3:44 p.m. April 28: Someone broke into a man’s car and stole property.

Hunters Chase in Bel Air, 2200 block, reported 10:01 p.m. April 28: A man reported his wallet was stolen during a burglary at a business.

Dahlia Court in Bel Air, 1200 block, reported 12:27 p.m. April 29: Vandals damaged property in the area.

Westview Road in Bel Air, 500 block, reported 1:24 p.m. April 29: Someone vandalized and broke into a car on April 27.

Kilber Court in Bel Air, 800 block, reported 3:51 p.m. April 29: A woman called police after a girl showed up at the house threatening to fight the woman’s daughter.

Glenwood Road in Bel Air, unit block, reported 7:15 p.m. April 29: Someone tried to burglarize the residence.

The following are recent arrests made by Maryland State Police:

Abingdon man arrested on bench warrant

Antoine M. Spencer, with addresses in the 300 block of Fullerton Place in Abingdon and the 700 block of Richwood Ave. in Baltimore, was arrested April 30 on a bench warrant in a case in which he was charged with theft less than $100.

Forest Hill man charged with assault

Carl Robert Alexander, 22, of the 2200 block of Ady Road in Forest Hill, was charged April 29 with second-degree assault, trespassing, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
