The following are recent arrests made by the :

Bel Air man charged with driving while impaired by drugs

Donald L. Walizer Sr., 47, of the 200 block of Ring Factory Road in Bel Air, was charged Jan. 30 with driving while impaired by drugs or alcohol or alcohol and drugs, driving while impaired by a controlled dangerous substance, failing to drive right of center and making an unsafe lane change. The charges stem from a traffic stop around 3:39 p.m. Jan. 30 in the 200 block of Ring Factory Road in Bel Air. He was charged with a similar offense on Jan. 28, police said.

Abingdon man charged with DUI

Carl Edward Johnson Jr., 50, of the 4200 block of Birch Ave. in Abingdon, was charged Jan. 30 with driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving while impaired by alcohol, consuming alcohol in passenger area of vehicle on highway, driving while his registration was suspended and speeding. The charges stem from a traffic stop around 9:12 p.m. Jan. 30 in the area of Long Bar Harbor Road and Longley Road in Abingdon, police said.

Bel Air man arrested on bench warrant

Joseph Gately Walsh, 47, of the 1100 block of Hendrix Court in Bel Air, was arrested Jan. 31 on a bench warrant in a case in which he was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving while under the influence of alcohol per se and driving while impaired by alcohol. The initial traffic stop took place Nov. 11, 2011 in the area of Milton Avenue and Maryland Route 1 in Fallston, police said.

Bel Air man charged with theft

Mark Allen Ahrenberg Jr., 33, of the 200 block of Franklin St. in Bel Air, was charged Jan. 31 with two counts of theft between $1,000 and $10,000 and two counts of being rogue and vagabond, which means carrying the tools of a thief, police said.

Forest Hill man charged with assault

Charles Garrett Varner, 33, of the 1800 block of Beth Ridge Circle in Forest Hill, was charged Jan. 31 with second-degree assault and driving while his license was suspended, police said.

Bel Air man arrested on bench warrant

David Eugene Workman, 32, of the 600 block of Emmy Dee Drive in Bel Air, was arrested Jan. 31 on a bench warrant in a case in which he was charged with two counts of possession of a drug other than marijuana, police said.

Fallston man charged with general burglary

Ioanis C. Gourgoulianis, 25, of the 2200 block of Edinburg Drive in Fallston, was charged Jan. 31 with second- and fourth-degree burglary and theft less than $1,000, police said.

Bel Air man charged with theft

Lloyd Kendrick Richards Jr., 37, of the 900 block of Falling Stone Court in Bel Air, was charged Feb. 2 with theft between $1,000 and $10,000, police said.

Abingdon woman arrested on bench warrant

Kathryn Ann Graziano, 42, of the 300 block of Foreland Garth in Abingdon, was arrested Feb. 1 in a case in which she was charged with driving while her license and privilege were suspended, police said. According to court records, Graziano failed to appear in court on the charge.
