Jarrettsville man arrested on bench warrant
Douglas Clifton Shields, 26, of the 1600 block of Baldwin Mill Road in Jarrettsville, was arrested May 4 on a bench warrant in a case in which he was charged with possession of a drug other than marijuana. The warrant was issued after Shields allegedly failed to appear in court, according to online court records.

Donald M. Grim, 48, of the 2000 block of Merick Way in Abingdon, was charged May 4 with second-degree assault.
Forest Hill woman charged with assault
Christina Lynn Willard, 34, of the 2200 block of Melrose Lane in Forest Hill, was charged May 6 with second-degree assault.
Chester Way in Bel Air, 1800 block, reported 9:06 a.m. May 4: The resident reported someone had just broken into her home.
Alexandria Way in Bel Air, 1000 block, reported 7:17 p.m. May 4: A man trespassed on the property then threatened the resident.
Conowingo Road in Bel Air, 2100 block, reported 11:52 p.m. May 5: A fight broke out in the parking lot of The Lodge.
Hazelnut Court in Bel Air, 100 block, reported 1:24 a.m. May 6: Someone vandalized a vehicle.
