Friday night a woman was jumped at Scottsdale Drive (near Brierhill) and her car was stolen, It's A Toyota Corolla. The thief wore a hooded jacket and was white with a slight build. He was hanging around the entrance to the condo she was visiting and approached her saying "can I ask you a question." He knocked her to the grown grabbed her pocket book, took her keys and got in her car. She tried to stop him from getting away and hung onto the door. He dragged her a short distance and drove the car into a parked Lexus. The incident occurred at about 6:00 PM Friday night. I talked to the victim and other residents while the police were there investigating and listened to what was being said. Four patrol cars responded initially, three Sheriffs and 1 State Police car. The woman suffered some abrasions, likely from being dragged by the car. Residents are concerned as the thief also got away with keys that would allow him to enter one of the condominiums.
