Bel Air Crime: Thefts Out of Cars Plague Area

The following are recent incidents handled by the Harford County Sheriff’s Office:

Foxborough Drive in Bel Air, 1500 block, reported 8:50 a.m. Aug. 13. A vehicle was vandalized.

Bel Air Auto Showcase in Fallston, 2308 Bel Air Road, reported 9:44 a.m. Aug. 13. Someone stole a dealer tag from the front desk.

Yarmouth Lane in Bel Air, 600 block, reported 8:26 p.m. Aug. 13. Vandals broke a window.

Trail Wood Court in Abingdon, 3700 blcok, reported 1:55 a.m. Aug. 14. Someone called 911 after hearing gunshots in the area. No report was filed.

Winfield Drive in Bel Air, 900 block, reported 8:58 a.m. Aug. 14. A burglar broke into the home.

Charles Street in Fallston, 3000 block, reported 2:32 p.m. Aug. 14. Someone stole between $1,000 and $10,000 out of a bedroom.

Falstaff Court in Bel Air, 1800 block, reported 2:53 p.m. Aug. 14. Someone tried to break into the home.

Ponfield Road in Forest Hill, 300 block, reported 3:08 p.m. Aug. 14. Property was stolen off the porch of a home.

Parallel Path in Abingdon, 2700 block, reported 7:14 a.m. Aug. 15. A laptop computer was stolen out of a car.

Parallel Path in Abingdon, 2600 block, reported 9:59 a.m. Aug. 15. A vehicle was broken into.

Fox Hunt Court in Bel Air, 2200 block, reported 10:35 a.m. Aug. 15. A GPS was stolen out of a car.

Kempton Park Circle in Bel Air, 2200 block, reported 11:02 a.m. Aug. 15. Property was stolen out of a vehicle.

South Tollgate Road in Bel Air, 1100 block, 1:09 p.m. Aug. 15. Someone stole a license tag off of a boat trailer.

Rambler Road in Bel Air, 400 block, reported 1:20 p.m. Aug. 15. Someone broke into a car and stole a GPS.

Love Grove Court in Abingdon, 100 block, reported 4:45 p.m. Aug. 15. Two cars were broken into overnight.

Edith Stone Drive in Abingdon, 100 block, reported 5:51 p.m. Aug. 15. A car was broken into.

Tallyho Drive in Fallston, 2500 block, reported 5:55 p.m. Aug. 15. A home was vandalized.

Longridge Court in Abingdon, 3600 block, reported 6:18 p.m. Aug. 15. Someone tried to steal a car.

Parallel Path in Abingdon, 2600 block, reported 8:07 p.m. Aug. 15. Property was stolen out of a vehicle.

Tulleys Pointe Court in Abingdon, 3400 block, reported 8:09 p.m. Aug 15. Someone tried to break into a car.

Westover Lane and Howell Court in Abingdon, 9:47 p.m. Aug. 15. Someone broke a car window, possibly with some kind of gun.
