Bel Air Crime: Thefts, Vandalism in Bel Air Area

The following information was supplied by the Harford County Sheriff's Office and Maryland State Police. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

The following is a recent arrest made by Maryland State Police:

Michelle Elaine Schisler, 45, of the 500 block of South Main Street in Bel Air, was arrested Feb. 21 on two bench warrants in cases in which she was charged with making a false statement to an officer, identity fraud to avoid prosecution and making a public record false entry. In the second case she was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and driving while her license was revoked.

Beacon Court in Bel Air, 1400 block, reported 10:43 a.m. Feb. 18: Vandals damaged property.

Woodbine Court in Forest Hill, 200 block, reported 8:02 p.m. Feb. 18: Someone broke in and stole property.

Scottish Isle Drive in Abingdon, 700 block, reported 2:04 a.m. Feb. 19: Vandals damaged property in that block.

Federal Lane in Abingdon, 3700 block, reported 8:08 a.m. Feb. 19: Someone broke into the residence.

Boxthorn Road in Abingdon, 100 block, reported 9:17 a.m. Feb. 19: Someone stole a bike.

May Court in Bel Air, 800 block, reported 10:20 a.m. Feb. 19: A woman told police someone had stolen her identity.

Fairway Drive in Bel Air, 2400 block, reported 11:55 p.m. Feb. 19: Emergency medical responders were called to the home to assist an unconscious person. They determined the patient was suffering from an overdose.

Holly Wreath Road in Abingdon, 100 block, reported 1:05 a.m. Feb. 20: Someone broke into the residence.

Jessie Court in Bel Air, 700 block, reported 8 a.m. Feb. 20: Vandals damaged property.

Red Pump Road in Bel Air, unit block, reported 9:02 a.m. Feb. 20: A customer used counterfeit money at the McDonald's.

Thomas Manor Lane in Forest Hill, 200 block, reported 1:34 p.m. Feb. 20: Vandals destroyed property in that block.

West Riding Drive in Bel Air, unit block, reported 1:43 p.m. Feb. 20: Someone broke into the residence.

Constant Friendship Boulevard in Abingdon, 400 block, reported 8:55 p.m. Feb. 20: Someone at Target Greatland reported identity theft.

East Ring Factory Road in Bel Air, 200 block, reported 9:56 p.m. Feb. 20: Vandals damaged property in the area.

Buckland Place in Bel Air, 900 block, reported 5:43 a.m. Feb. 21: Someone stole property out of a car.
