Bel Air Woman Killed in I-695 Crash

The fatal crash shut down part of Interstate 695 Thursday morning.

A 25-year-old Bel Air woman was killed Thursday morning in a crash on Interstate 695, according to reports.

Kerri Shaneybrook was ejected from her 1997 Mercedes C230 after striking a concrete barrier around 3:31 a.m. on the inner loop of I-695 before the Charles Street exit, The Baltimore Sun reported.

The inner loop was closed at Charles Street until 6 a.m. for investigation, according to WBAL TV.

Shaneybrook was the only person in the vehicle, WJZ reported.

It is unclear what caused the crash, which remains under investigation, according to ABC News.

Police were reportedly asking anyone with information to contact the Maryland State Police Golden Ring Barrack at 410-780-2700.
