Drugs, Cigarettes, Cash Stolen from Boyd and Fulford

Bel Air's Main Street drug store—more than 100 years old—was broken into overnight.

UPDATE (3:51 p.m.)—Prescription drugs, cash and cigarettes were stolen overnight from , the locally-owned pharmacy in the unit block of South Main Street in Bel Air.

The  responded to the incident at about 7:55 a.m., and detectives were seen on the property beyond 10 a.m. They have not identified any suspects.

Police do not believe personal customer information was compromised.

An employee declined comment saying they were working to "clean up" and get the store back in order.

Longtime local resident Mary Streett and her husband own the shop, which was broken into from the rear entrance.

The store, which usually opens at 8:30 a.m. on weekdays, did not open until after 11 a.m. Thursday.

Boyd and Fulford was established in 1892.
