Car Crashes into Sign, Mulch Bed in Forest Hill

The incident occurred near the ShopRite off Maryland Route 24.

UPDATE (Thursday, 12:11 p.m.)—A 64-year-old Street woman  her car onto some mulch and into a sign in Forest Hill shortly after 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Rose Ann Mary Hebert was traveling south on Maryland Route 24 in a 2008 Kia Optima when she made a left turn onto Klein Plaza Drive. Hebert then noticed a northbound vehicle close to hitting her, at which point she sped up, hit a curb and ran into the mulch and plaza sign, according to a police report.

Hebert and a 40-year-old female passenger were not injured, according to a report. It also stated that Hebert was in "apparently normal" condition.

The incident occurred at the entrance to the shopping plaza near the intersection of Maryland routes 24 and 23.
