Crash into Telephone Pole Shut Down Whiteford Road

MD Route 136 in Dublin reopened during the morning rush hour.

Nobody was injured in a crash that shut down part of Whiteford Road for several hours Thursday morning, according to The Baltimore Sun.

The crash on MD Route 136/Whiteford Road was reported at 3:07 a.m. and involved one vehicle, the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team reported.

Northbound and southbound lanes on Route 136 were shut down between Dublin Road and Deerfield Road as the scene was cleared.

Maryland State Police told The Baltimore Sun that the vehicle hit a telephone pole, which didn't injure anyone but resulted in the road closure until 8:30 a.m.
