Crash Slowed Traffic on I-95 Near Bel Air Tuesday

Lane closures were in effect for more than an hour.

Part of Interstate 95 south was closed Tuesday night after a multiple-vehicle crash near Bel Air.

The three-vehicle collision was reported at 7:03 p.m. Tuesday before the exit for MD Route 24, according to the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team.

There were injuries as a result of the crash, according to the Harford County Volunteer Fire & EMS Association, which advised drivers to expect delays.

Lane closures were in effect until 8:15 p.m., when the Maryland Transportation Authority reported the scene had been cleared.
