Crash Closed Road Near Darlington

A crash on Route 136 reportedly involved an overturned vehicle.

A single-vehicle crash near Darlington shut down all lanes of MD Route 136/Priestford Road at Trappe Church Road Monday morning for more than an hour, according to transportation officials. The road was closed at 8:02 a.m. and reopened after 9:30 a.m.

The crash injured at least one person, according to WXCY.

It involved a car that overturned, 92Q reported.

ABC 2 News recommended using MD Route 543.

Officials asked citizens to stay off the roads during the snowstorm. The Aberdeen Police Department issued the following message at 8:18 a.m. Monday: "Please do not attempt to drive during this storm. Multiple accidents are being reported throughout the county. It is not safe to drive in weather conditions like we are experiencing. Allow our DPW and SHA crews the time to properly clear our roadways."

Harford County is under a winter storm warning until 6 p.m. Monday.
