Crime: Lacrosse Stick Stolen from Harford Tech, Dodge Caravan from Bel Air Auto Auction

Recent crime as handled by the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

Feb. 14, between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Sixteen units of 4-by-10-foot IMC pipe worth about $1,000 and six 4-inch, 90-degree “sweeps” were stolen from a Remco Inc. construction site in the unit block of Bel Air South Parkway. The incident is under investigation.

Between Feb. 5–10. A burgundy 1998 Dodge Caravan was stolen from Bel Air Auto Auction in the 800 block of Belair Road. The incident is under investigation.

Feb. 4, 3:53 p.m. One pill each of oxycodone and oxycontin and a brass smoking pipe were found during a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Walters Mill Road in Forest Hill. Police arrested an unidentified 34-year-old man for the possession, but charges depended on whether the suspect could provide a legal prescription for the pills, which were found in a metal container.

Feb. 3, 12:41 p.m. A 32-year-old Bel Air man was arrested on charges of possession with intent to distribute. During a traffic stop on the Hickory Bypass, Keith Storm Brown II of the 2100 block of Mark Street in Bel Air was found to have a hypodermic needle and a metal spoon with white residue and burn marks on the bottom, according to police.

Feb. 2, between 6:50 a.m. and 2 p.m. A student’s Warrior lacrosse stick worth more than $100 was stolen from a classroom at Harford Tech High School. The student was storing the stick in a teacher’s classroom during the school day. The incident is under investigation.
