Harford Sheriff Seeks 3 Juveniles in Edgewood Beauty Store Robbery

DJ's Beauty Supply Store on Route 40 was robbed at 2:50 p.m. Thursday, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

The Harford County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred Thursday afternoon at the Starlight Plaza in Edgewood.

Two girls and a boy—all believed to be teens—entered DJ's Beauty Supply Store at 1812 Pulaski Highway at 2:50 p.m. Thursday and began taking items off the shelves, the sheriff's office reported.

When an employee approached them, one of the girls threatened the female employee with "an unknown object" and "grabbed the employee by the hair and pushed her to the floor," the sheriff's office said.

The suspects then stole beauty supplies and left, heading across Pulaski Highway, through the parking lot of the Edgewater Village Shopping Center, according to the report.

Police said the employee refused medical treatment and was not injured.

The sheriff's office is searching for three suspects, described as follows:

  • Black female, 15–17 years old, wearing a black jacket, black baseball hat with a "C" on the front and a red brim. A red bandana covered her face.
  • Black male, 15–17 years old, wearing a black vest-style jacket with red sleeves, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
  • Black female, 15-17 years old, wearing a red vest with white sleeves, a black wool hat and a red bandana covering her face.
Anyone with information may contact the Harford County Sheriff's Office at 410-
612-1717 or send a text to 274637 with "MCS" followed by the tip.

"If you know the identity of the suspects or provide information that leads to their arrest, you could be eligible for a cash reward," according to the sheriff's office.
