Edgewood Crime: $13,000 In Car Parts Stolen

Edgewood Road, 600 block, 4:17 p.m. on Jan. 30. A theft was reported at the Edgewood Branch of the Harford County Library. No further information was available.
Meadowood Court, 1600 block, 3:44 p.m. on Jan. 30. A car was reportedly taken without authorization. The victim said she believed an acquaintance took the vehicle.

Pulaski Highway, 1700 block, 1:17 p.m. on Jan. 30. Approximately $13,000 worth of car parts was reported stolen from a business; more than 100 catalytic converters were taken from a property after they were stacked in a storage yard the day prior.
Edgewater Drive, 1800 block, midnight, Jan. 30. Police responded to a noise complaint. A caller reported loud music.

Rosewood Drive, 2200 block, 4:17 p.m. on Jan. 29. A moped was reportedly stolen.
Swallow Crest Court, 900 block, 8:52 p.m. on Jan. 27. A caller reported an attempted armed robbery that occurred between Edgewater Drive and Swallow Crest Court. An unknown black male, approximately 19 years old, wearing a puffy black jacket and a black knit hat with a mask covering his lower face, pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded cash. The victim reported the suspect as skinny and between 5-foot-9 and 5-foot-11. Police searched the area to no avail.
Sailboat Court, 800 block, 1:20 p.m. on Jan. 25. Both license plates were stolen from a vehicle sometime between 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 24 and 9 a.m. on Jan. 25.
