Police Find Stolen Baltimore County Car Burned in Edgewood

The Maryland State Fire Marshal said there had been a fire inside the vehicle.

The Office of the State Fire Marshal said that a vehicle reported stolen in Baltimore County was found Friday night after a fire in Edgewood.

The 1998 Toyota Corolla had been reported stolen on Dec. 1 in Baltimore County, the fire marshal said.

At 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Maryland State Police located the vehicle in the 300 block of McCann Street in Edgewood during a routine patrol, according to the report.

Combustibles had been set on fire in the passenger compartment, the report stated.

As a result of the fire, there was $1,500 in damage, according to the report.
