Child, Age 3, Hospitalized After Fall

Shortly before 7 p.m. a 911 call for a fall in Bel Air drew emergency response.

A 3-year-old boy was taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital after he fell Sunday evening.

Shortly before 7 p.m., rushed to the 1000 block of Irwins Choice in Bel Air in response to a 911 call, according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.

The 3-year-old boy fell a long distance and suffered injuries from the fall, Gardiner said.

A medevac helicopter was initially called to the scene, but the request was later canceled. The child was taken by Bel Air ambulance to Johns Hopkins for treatment, according to Gardiner.
