Fallston Accident Injures 2, Under Investigation

Maryland State Police are investigating a Wednesday accident in Fallston.

Two men were taken to regional hospitals Wednesday night after a car crash in Fallston.

MD Route 152 was closed to traffic for about three hours as police investigated at the scene, according to a release from Maryland State Police with the Bel Air Barrack.

Around 8:30 p.m. a green, Chevrolet pickup truck driven by 22-year-old Nicholas Joseph Lotz was westbound on Connolly Road when it ran through a stop sign, according to state police.

At the same time, Joshua Charles Wilson, 19, was headed north on MD Route 152 in an Isuzu SUV when the pickup hit his car on the passenger side, the release states.

State police told ExploreHarford.com that Wilson was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore while Lotz was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, also in Baltimore.

The Fallston Volunteer Fire Company responded to provide medical attention and the Maryland State Trooper accident reconstructionists were called to assist in the investigation.

The status of both men was unknown Thursday afternoon.
